**Lab Admin Job Description**

**Job Summary**:
As a Digital Smile Design (DSD) Dental Lab Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our dental laboratory focused on digital smile design. You will manage the laboratory's day-to-day activities, coordinate workflow, and ensure the seamless integration of digital technologies into our dental design processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Laboratory Management**:
Oversee all aspects of the dental lab's operations, including workflow coordination, resource allocation, and quality control. Ensure the lab is well-organized and equipped with the necessary materials, tools, and equipment for digital smile design procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment, adhering to all relevant safety and health regulations.

**Digital Smile Design (DSD) Technology**:
Proficiently operate and maintain digital smile design software and equipment (e.g., 3D scanners, CAD/CAM systems). Collaborate with dental technicians and clinicians to digitize patient impressions, models, and diagnostic records. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to digital systems and software.

**Materials and Inventory Management**:
Manage inventory of dental materials, ensuring an adequate supply for daily lab operations. Monitor material usage, reorder supplies as needed, and maintain cost-effective inventory control. Maintain records of material specifications, batch numbers, and expiration dates.

**Quality Control and Assurance**:
Implement and enforce quality control protocols to ensure the accuracy and precision of dental restorations. Perform regular inspections of completed restorations to maintain high-quality standards. Document and report any deviations from quality standards and work with the team to rectify issues.

**Compliance and Documentation**:
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices. Maintain accurate records of all lab procedures, including patient information, case histories, and materials used. Assist with documentation required for regulatory audits and certifications.
