The Reservations Agent will provide caring, attentive guest service while monitoring and entering room inventories and rates.

The Reservations Agent is responsible for responding to guest inquiries, creating and maintaining reservation records, processing cancellations and changes while maintaining optimum levels of production resulting in optimum occupancy.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Timely inputting of reservations received via mail, telephone, online bookings
- Processing reservations and input group rooming lists
- Answering the Reservations phone lines and assisting guests with booking their reservations while providing information on the hotel, room types and rates as well as information on activities and restaurant options in the surrounding area.
- Resolving any reservations issues including cancellations and changes.
- Securely processes credit card transactions for advance deposits.
- Monitoring and assessing business reports to accurately track future room availabilities
- Assist Front Desk Reception with other duties as needed.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Must have at least 3 years' experience in 5 Star Hotel as Reservation Agent
- College diploma or equivalent required.
- Must possess computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.); experience working with OPERA and RESERVE or similar systems.
- Requires a strong command of the English language to include speaking, reading and writing.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Attention to details is a must.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- Sharjah: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
