**Main Duties and Responsibilities in the Warehouse**:
**Goods Handling**: Assist in the efficient and safe handling, packing, and unpacking of goods within the warehouse environment, ensuring all procedures are followed.

**Inventory Management**: Monitor and maintain inventory levels accurately, including stock counts and recording discrepancies to ensure optimal inventory accuracy.

**Order Fulfilment**: Support order picking, packing, and dispatching activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers.

**Warehouse Organisation**: Contribute to the organisation and cleanliness of the warehouse, including maintaining aisles and storage areas for efficient workflow.

**Equipment Operation**: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently in compliance with workplace safety standards.

**Health and Safety Compliance**: Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues at all times.

**Qualifications and Skills Required for the Warehouse Assistant Position**:
**Education**: GCSEs or equivalent are preferred, but not essential; commitment to ongoing training and development is beneficial.

**Experience**: Previous experience in a warehouse or a similar environment is advantageous; however, we value eagerness to learn and adaptability.

**Physical Fitness**: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items, and the stamina to stand for extended periods.

**Technical Skills**: Basic computer skills for inventory management systems and record-keeping; experience with warehouse software is a plus.

**Attention to Detail**: High attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure orders are fulfilled correctly.

**Teamwork**: Strong team player with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to the warehouse team's success.
