**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for formation and compliance of company’s policies and procedures regarding accounts and finance function.
- Financial reporting/ Analysis
- Responsible for performing costing, budgeting and forecasting with variance analysis.
- Management reporting
- Preparation and presentation of Monthly and Annual Financial Statements.
- Ensuring Closure of Books on Monthly basis.
- Supervising the Team, to make sure that all accounting entries are correctly recorded.
- Ensuring all Accounting and Tax Record are kept properly.
- Assisting the External Auditors in conducting the Statutory Audit of Financial Statements
- Month End reconciliation
- Recording if accrued incomes and expenses
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Monthly Excise returns
- Other Complacencies with FTA
- Experience with banks (Contract opening, Bill Settlements ETC)
- Efficient communication with external parties in matters of import/export and logistics.
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
- Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes.
- Research and analyze expense variances for company management.

**Essential Skills & Experience**:

- 8+ years of professional accounting and finance experience
- ACCA Qualified/CMA Qualified / CA/ Finalist

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ras al-Khaimah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
