**Legal Counsel**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Legal Advisory Mastery**:

- Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to senior management and various departments on a broad spectrum of legal matters, including corporate law, commercial contracts, employment law, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
- Review and draft a wide range of legal documents, contracts, agreements, and policies, ensuring alignment with UAE laws and regulations.

**Risk Management and Compliance Excellence**:

- Identify and assess legal risks, developing proactive strategies to mitigate potential issues.
- Stay abreast of changes in UAE laws and regulations, providing timely guidance and ensuring organizational compliance.
- Design and implement robust compliance programs and policies to uphold legal and regulatory standards.

**Contract Negotiation and Management Prowess**:

- Lead negotiations and review contracts with clients, suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders, safeguarding the company's interests and ensuring legal compliance.
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, including documentation, renewal, and termination processes.

**Dispute Resolution and Litigation Leadership**:

- Manage legal disputes through various channels, including litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel and represent the company in legal proceedings when necessary, ensuring favorable outcomes.

**Corporate Governance and Board Support**:

- Provide expert guidance on corporate governance matters, including board meetings, governance policies, and regulatory filings.
- Support the board of directors and senior management in navigating legal and governance challenges effectively.

**Intellectual Property Protection Advocacy**:

- Safeguard the company's intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets.
- Conduct comprehensive IP audits, handle registrations, and take enforcement actions as required.

**Training and Compliance Advocacy**:

- Conduct engaging and informative legal training sessions for employees, enhancing their understanding of legal issues and compliance requirements.
- Promote a culture of compliance, ethics, and legal awareness throughout the organization.

**External Relations and Stakeholder Management Expertise**:

- Collaborate with external legal advisors, government authorities, regulators, and industry associations, representing the company's interests in legal matters.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, supporting the company's legal objectives and fostering positive partnerships.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Law; Master's degree or relevant certifications such as CS will be a plus
- Minimum of 3years of UAE experience as a legal counsel, preferably in a multinational or diverse industry setting.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE laws and regulations, with a strong understanding of international legal frameworks.
- Proven track record in providing strategic legal advice, contract negotiation, risk management, and compliance leadership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities with attention to detail.
