Job Responsibilities
- He is responsible for attaching and fixing the chilled water pipes to various parts of a structure such as the wall, roof, fixtures and others.
- He is also responsible for ensuring the fact that the quality of the pipes that are used is up to the mark and as per the standards that are suggested by the client.
- A pipe fitter is responsible for measuring the length and other dimensions of the pipes and marking and cutting them as per the requirement.

- It is the job responsibility of a pipe fitter to use tools and equipment such as cutting torches, saws, benders, pipe fitters, welders etc so as to ensure smooth fixation of the pipes.
- A pipe fitter is also responsible for removing and repair works
- Pipe fitter should able to examine, inspect and test the already installed pipes as well as other installed systems to check structural weaknesses and then suggest methods to overcome these weaknesses.
- Study building plans and inspect structures to assess material and equipment needs, to establish the sequence of pipe installations, and to plan installation around obstructions such as electrical wiring.
- Reading blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
- Locate and repair issues with Chilled water supply lines (e.g. leaks)
- Understanding and implementation of EHS procedures at site

**Requirements**:
Proven experience as a plumber/Pipe fitter

Solid understanding of Chilled water distribution systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings and plants

Working knowledge of heating and ventilation and Air Conditioning systems

Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)

Should communicate and understand English

Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
