Buyer - Audio Visual

**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented **Buyer - Audio Visual** to manage the procurement of audio-visual equipment and solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing high-quality AV products, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and alignment with company requirements. You will play a key role in building relationships with suppliers, optimizing the supply chain, and ensuring the best products are available for our needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Product Sourcing & Procurement**:

- Identify, source, and purchase a wide range of audio-visual equipment, including displays, projectors, sound systems, AV cables, accessories, and other related products. Ensure the products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- **Supplier Management & Negotiations**:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings and ensure favorable conditions for the company.
- **Market Analysis**:
Conduct market research to stay up to date on the latest AV products, trends, and innovations. Evaluate potential suppliers and technologies, ensuring the company’s AV needs are met with the most efficient and high-quality solutions.Manage inventory levels for audio-visual products to ensure availability while avoiding overstocking. Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics teams to optimize inventory management and delivery timelines.Process and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in terms of product specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines. Ensure that purchase orders are completed on time and that products are delivered in accordance with the specified timelines.Ensure purchases are made within budget and that cost-effective solutions are identified. Track expenses and seek opportunities to reduce costs without compromising on quality.Work closely with internal teams, including IT, Marketing, and Operations, to understand their AV requirements and ensure their needs are met. Collaborate on project requirements, product recommendations, and solutions.Ensure the AV equipment purchased meets the company’s quality standards and specifications. Test and evaluate products when necessary to ensure functionality before use.Maintain accurate records of all purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements. - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or buying, with a focus on audio-visual or electronics products. Experience in the AV industry is a plus.
- **Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management) are a plus.
- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of audio-visual equipment, including both hardware and software solutions.
- Experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost optimization.
- Proficiency in procurement and inventory management software.
- Ability to evaluate and analyze product specifications, market trends, and supplier performance.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with vendors, internal teams, and management.
