**Key Responsibilities**:
- Analyze production costs and prepare periodic cost reports.
- Maintain and monitor the standard costing system and update when necessary.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual and standard costs and report the reasons for variances.
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts related to manufacturing and production costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and perform regular cost audits.
- Collaborate with the production and procurement departments to review and manage cost control processes.
- Analyze cost data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting principles.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Generate reports to support strategic decision-making by management.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum **3 years of experience** in cost accounting within a **manufacturing or factory environment**.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory valuation.
- Familiar with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Professional certification such as CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is an advantage.
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of local tax laws and compliance standards.
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
