**Job Title**: Portuguese & Chinese Translator

**Location**: Dubai, Onsite

**Job Type**: Full-Time

**Responsibilities**:

- Translate written documents, including business correspondence, marketing materials, contracts, and other content between **Portuguese** and **Chinese** (Simplified and/or Traditional).
- Provide interpretation services for meetings, conferences, and video calls between Portuguese and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
- Ensure translations maintain the tone, intent, and context of the original content.
- Edit and proofread translations for accuracy and consistency.
- Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, legal, and operations, to deliver high-quality translations in a timely manner.
- Assist in localizing content for specific markets, ensuring cultural and linguistic appropriateness.
- Stay up-to-date with language and translation trends to maintain high-quality service.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in **Portuguese** and **Chinese** (Mandarin). Additional Chinese dialects (e.g., Cantonese) are a plus.
- Proven experience as a translator or interpreter in a professional setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Familiarity with translation tools (e.g., CAT tools) and proofreading/editing techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality translations.
- Previous experience in a specific industry (e.g., legal, marketing, technical) is a plus.
