We are a dynamic and growing construction company committed to delivering high-quality projects with integrity and efficiency. As we expand, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team and manage critical financial operations.

**Job Summary**

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, setting up and managing accounting ledgers, verifying and scrutinizing invoices, and ensuring the proper use of ERP software systems. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of accounting practices within the construction industry.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Set up, maintain, and monitor general and subsidiary ledgers
- Scrutinize, verify, and process vendor and subcontractor invoices
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
- Managing the A/P & A/R.
- Bank Reconciliation
- Work closely with project managers to ensure cost tracking and budget adherence
- Utilize ERP software for accounting and reporting tasks
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, VAT regulations, and internal policies
- Support audits and provide necessary documentation

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or contracting sector
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., ERP next, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of ledger management and invoice scrutiny
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification
- Prior experience in job costing and project-based accounting
- Knowledge of local construction and VAT regulations
