**Job Description** Role Purpose**

The Commis Chef will assist the Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations, preparing ingredients, and supporting the cooking process. This role is **based in Ras Al Khaimah** and is ideal for individuals seeking to build a career in professional culinary arts.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Food Preparation & Cooking Support**
- Assist in the preparation and basic cooking of ingredients for your assigned kitchen section.
- Ensure ingredients are prepared to the standards required for each dish.
- Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines under supervision.

**Operational Duties**
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation and equipment.
- Support the Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie in daily service preparation.
- Assist with inventory management and monitor stock levels.
- Follow kitchen procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

**Standards & Compliance**
- Maintain hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Adhere to RIKAS Group’s kitchen SOPs, health, and safety regulations.
- Uphold grooming, professional behavior, and teamwork standards.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills.

**Qualifications** Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or kitchen assistant in a premium or fine-dining restaurant preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Passion for food and eagerness to learn from senior chefs.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- ** Must be available to join immediately in Ras Al Khaimah.**
