Job Description: Procurement Officer

Location: Dubai

Department: Procurement & Supply Chain

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in managing our company’s supply portfolio, ensuring the cost-effective acquisition of high-quality goods and services. Your expertise will be crucial in developing purchasing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and minimizing procurement costs while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to reduce costs.
- Manage supplier relationships and conduct performance reviews.
- Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their needs and specifications.
- Resolve issues related to delivered goods, including defects or shortages.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles.
- A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a relevant field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
