The Legal Manager will be responsible for providing legal guidance and support to the business, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and managing external counsel.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide legal guidance and support to the business on Family Law and UAE Litigation matters
- Manage and oversee the legal and compliance functions of the company
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the UAE and the UK
- Develop and implement legal policies and procedures
- Manage external counsel and ensure effective communication and coordination
- Provide training and guidance to employees on legal and compliance matters
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effective implementation of legal and compliance strategies
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations and advise the business accordingly
**Requirements**
- UK law degree (LL. B. or equivalent) or has held a full-time role in the UK
- At least 5 years of experience in Family Law and UAE Litigation
- Proven experience in managing legal and compliance functions
- Strong knowledge of UAE laws and regulations, as well as UK law
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (UAE time)
- Availability for after-hours discussions to cover UK time zone ( occasional evenings and weekends)
