Housekeeping Desk Coordinator

The Housekeeping Desk Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily operations of the housekeeping department from the desk. This role involves dispatching housekeeping tasks, maintaining communication with the housekeeping team, and addressing guest requests and inquiries. Coordinate daily housekeeping activities and assign tasks to housekeeping staff.

Serve as the primary point of contact for housekeeping staff and guests.

Address guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously.

Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities and room statuses.

Monitor and track inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment.

Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Handle and resolve any issues or complaints related to housekeeping services.

Prepare and distribute daily task sheets and reports.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Proficiency in using housekeeping management software and MS Office.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
