Furniture Estimator

To support our continuous growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team.

Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates for new projects and products, considering materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and negotiate prices.
- Conduct risk analysis on potential projects to identify financial risks and provide mitigation strategies.
- Maintain a database of historical data on costs, materials, labor, and production times to inform future estimates.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends related to raw materials and labor costs to ensure our pricing remains competitive.
- Support the procurement process by providing detailed breakdowns of estimated costs.
- Work closely with the project management team to track project costs against estimates and adjust budgets as necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cost estimation, preferably in the furniture manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in estimation software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the furniture manufacturing process and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with the UAE market and suppliers is a plus.
