We are excited to announce that one of our clients in the Food Industry is looking to hire a Commi II (Hot Kitchen).

**Job duties and responsibilities**
- Capable of supporting Chef de Partie and Commi I in the daily operations and work.
- Capable of preparing the daily mise-en-place and food production in different sections of the main kitchen.
- Capable of preparing, cooking, and serving food delegated while ensuring that the highest possible quality is maintained and that agreed standards for food preparation and presentation are always met under guidance from a senior chef.
- Capable of monitoring stock movement and being responsible for ordering for your section as required.
- Adhering to company procedures in regard to temperature checks, food labeling and dating, cleaning schedules and hygiene regulations at all times ensuring that all records of such are maintained regularly.
- To assist with the acceptance and storage of deliveries and that all relevant company procedures are adhered.
- Knowledgeable of menu planning, the implementation of stock controls, the importance of good stock management, and how this enables the kitchen to meet gross profit.
- Familiar with the opening and closing procedures of the kitchen and carrying them out as rotated.
- Capable of keeping high standards of cleanliness in the section where employed and assisting in any job regarding hygiene or cleanliness when requested by a senior chef.
- Knowledgeable of, and capable of acting upon any emergency fire procedures.
- Assisting in any other sections or helping colleagues with other duties when the kitchen is short staffed, in emergencies, and/or when required.

**Job qualifications/requirements**
- 2 - 2 1/2 years of professional culinary experience achieved in any GCC countries working in a Commi II or Commi III position within the food industry.
- Certificate or professional qualification from a recognized culinary school.
- Capable of working under pressure, for required hours in a heated and fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From AED1.00 per month
