**Role Description**
This is a full-time on-site role for a Patient Coordinator at I Smile Dental Center. The Patient Coordinator will be responsible for performing receptionist duties, scheduling appointments, utilizing medical terminology and optimizing patient experience.
**Qualifications**
- Excellent phone etiquette skills
- Proficient in Arabic and English language
- Experience performing receptionist duties
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience in dental office or healthcare industry is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Relevant Skills:
- **Patient Experience Optimization**: Act as the primary point of contact for patients, providing a seamless and positive experience throughout their care journey.
- **Patient Education**: Provide patients with clear and comprehensive information regarding treatments, procedures, and follow-up care to ensure understanding.
- **Medical Terminology**: Patient Coordinator should have knowledge and proficiency in using medical terminology to communicate with clinicians and patients.
- **Medical Office Management**: Patient Coordinator should have experience in managing the day-to-day operations of a medical office including patient scheduling and managing medical records.
- **Insurance Verification & Billing**: Verify patient insurance details, process claims, and coordinate with insurance providers to resolve billing issues.
- **Communication & Team Collaboration**: Collaborate with dental professionals and other departments to ensure smooth coordination of patient care and timely flow of information.
- **Follow-up and Reminders**: Ensure patients receive timely appointment reminders and follow-up calls for reschedules or missed appointments.
- **Problem-Solving & Support**: Address patient concerns or issues in a professional and timely manner, ensuring satisfaction and maintaining positive relationships.
