Front Desk Receptionist

1:) Provide exceptional customer service experience to all members, non-members and users of the facility
- 2:)Enrolling new members and assisting current members with their queries
- 3:)Greeting members and users of the sports club as they come through reception
- 4:)Checking in members and verifying memberships
- 5:)Registering prospective members and guiding them to the correct person
- 6:)Providing information on classes and availability
- 7:)Handling questions about cancellation of membership
- 8:)Ensuring that adequate stocks of information, packs and leaflets are available at reception for interested parties
- 9:)Ensuring the safety and security of visitors, members and staff at all times and taking a responsible attitude towards maintaining the premises and facilities of the Fitness Centre
- 10:)Serving customers, taking money for activities and accurately accounting or transactions at the end of each shift
- 11:)Welcoming members and visitors to the padel club and providing accurate information concerning programmes and activities
- 12:)Creating an excellent first impression of the padel club by providing a warm welcome, tidy appearance and pleasant manner at all times
- 14:)Handling telephone enquiries, recording messages from incoming calls and transferring calls
- 15:)Maintaining a clean and tidy environment, both behind and in front of the counter
- 16:)Recording and keeping clear and accurate records of all queries, complaints, lost property and repairs and ensuring the information is delegated to, and resolved by, the relevant department
- 17:)Cashing up and banking at the end of each shift and ensuring that shifts are balanced accurately completing relevant documentation
- 18:)Undertake other duties, of a similar professional nature and commensurate with the role, at the request of the Fitness Centre Manager
Qualifications for Receptionist
- Telephone skills
- Excellent written in verbal communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Experience with administrative and clerical procedures
- Able to contribute positively as part of the team, helping out with various tasks as required.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- University/college degree is an asset
- Previous experience in sports line of business is an advantage
- Skills in handling online bookings, phones etc
- Prior experience as a receptionist or in related field
**Salary**: From AED5,000.00 per month
