Logistics and Purchasing Coordinator

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Logistics Management**:
- Oversee and coordinate the transportation, storage, and delivery of goods to ensure timely and efficient operations.
- Monitor and track shipments, resolving any issues that may arise during transit.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs to ensure compliance with regulations.
- **Purchasing Coordination**:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and purchase order management.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.
- Evaluate supplier quotes and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- **Data Analysis and Reporting**:
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze logistics and purchasing data for insights and optimization.
- Prepare and present reports on inventory, procurement performance, and logistics metrics.
- **Customer Service and Coordination**:
- Act as a point of contact for internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.
- Provide excellent customer service to address inquiries and resolve concerns promptly.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align logistics and purchasing activities with business goals.
- **Language Support**:
- Communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking suppliers and customers using basic to moderate Chinese language skills.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Proven experience in logistics and purchasing roles.
- **Skills**:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.
- Excellent customer service and coordination abilities.
- Basic to moderate proficiency in the Chinese language is preferred.
