Job Description**
The Role**
You will be responsible for selling opportunities related to physical events and digital products, which are a growing part of our offering. Take ownership and responsibility for the achievement of pre-determined target (physical & digital) delegate numbers and revenue. To ensure strong relationships are built and maintained with new and existing clients to retain and increase delegate attendance through excellent customer services and account management.
**Responsibilities**:
- Achievement of delegate sales and revenue targets of our physical and digital products within timelines
- You must be comfortable taking lead on selling digital products which is a growing part of our offering and long-term strategy
- Reporting to Head of Delegate Sales with pipeline/forecast in a timely manner
- Generate new business by identifying and converting new delegate sponsors to achieve new business targets
- Retain & increase delegate sponsorship for our physical and digital events by providing better & improved ROI
- To make at least 60 calls per day on average over a week - the role requires significant time on the phone to contact clients and prospects.
- Continue to build strong relationships with current and potential delegate sponsors both pre and post event
- Continually monitor and research the market to increase market knowledge. Identify and benchmark against competitive events
- Provide ongoing constructive feedback to the marketing, production and sales teams

- Drive the sales performance with out of the box ideas and consultative selling
- Proven track record within a sales environment able to demonstrate successful sales record of high value sales & digital sales
- Proven track record of face to face selling and relationship building
- Understanding of event sales cycles
- Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Commercial awareness
- Capable of working in a pressurised environment
