ob Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage our inventory operations. The Storekeeper will be responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and issuing materials, ensuring accurate inventory records are maintained. This role requires regular stock checks, coordination with suppliers and departments, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Receive, inspect, store, and organize incoming goods according to company standards.
- Ensure proper labeling, arrangement, and categorization of materials to maintain an efficient inventory system.
- **Stock Control**:

- Monitor stock levels and perform regular checks to detect discrepancies or shortages.
- Prepare and submit inventory reports to management regularly.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and reorder supplies when stock levels are low.
- **Material Issuance**:

- Issue materials based on departmental requisitions, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of materials distributed and update inventory management systems.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Inspect incoming goods for quality and quantity, ensuring that received products match the purchase orders.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to the relevant department.
- **Safety & Organization**:

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storage environment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, implementing best practices to minimize risks.
- Ensure materials are stored efficiently to optimize space and facilitate easy access.
- **Coordination**:

- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth inventory operations and resolve any issues.
- Support the logistics team with inventory-related inquiries and tasks.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Additional certifications in warehouse management or inventory control are a plus).
- Proven experience as a storekeeper or in inventory/warehouse management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accurate record-keeping and inventory management.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety practices and regulations related to warehouse and inventory management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift, move, and arrange stock, as required.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or store setting, which may involve exposure to various temperatures and physical tasks.
