The Site Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of home modification projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. The supervisor will coordinate with subcontractors, manage on-site staff, and maintain high-quality standards in all work performed.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
- Oversee all aspects of site management, from start to finish.
- Schedule and coordinate work with subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers.
- Ensure that all work is carried out according to project plans and specifications.
Quality Control:
- Monitor work progress and quality to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential issues.
Safety Management:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols on-site.
- Conduct safety briefings and ensure that all team members are aware of and follow safety procedures.
Resource Management:
- Manage on-site resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to optimize efficiency.
- Track and report on resource usage and site expenditures.
Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality work and addressing issues promptly.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, incident reports, and progress updates.
- Report regularly to the Project Manager on project status, including any deviations from the plan.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a site supervisor or similar role in construction or home modification.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and safety standards.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in the construction or home modification industry.
- Certification in construction safety management is desirable.
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
