Technical Designer Job Vacancy.
- Analyzing and examining all design documents and specifications with minimum supervision, and to ensure that they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
- Review and go through all phases of projects, including programming, consulting, strategy, conceptual design, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents for detailed design and tendering process.
- Carry-out detailed comparison/ review of specified goods/materials and if required, to propose alternatives in compliance with projects specification and design criteria.
- Implement & manage; detailed shop drawing schedules, request for information schedule, material submittal schedules and any other documentation related to design.
- Address Request for Information within the prescribed time-period.
- Lead the design process and liaise with Client and specialist Consultants and Architects, ensuring all design information is received and released in a timely manner, considering the project overall program.
- Enhancing the design if required.
- Propose Value-Engineering to reduce cost without compromising on quality, time and performance of the specified material.
- Develop detailed specifications, drawings and finishing schedules for in-house Projects.
- Where applicable, coordinate each submittal with fabrication, purchasing, testing, delivery, other submittals, and related activities that require sequential activity.
- Review and comment on working / shop drawings across the relevant trades which compile all the designs, trades,builders work detail, disciplines, design, installation details and Goods.
- Implementing changes and corrections in the design.
- Maintaining a healthy relationship with vendors and manufacturers.
- Overseeing tasks performed by the Design team.
- Performing administrative duties as and when required.
- Conduct project sites Inspections throughout all phases of Construction and verify that the design has been implemented / complying in accordance with the contract documents and specification.
- Adhering to all the quality control requirements and standards.
- Staying up to date with the latest techniques in the development of construction.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
- Working experience as a Technical Designer, or a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge in construction
- Proficiency in design software such as CAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and many others.
- A portfolio of your technical designs is mandatory
- Ability to explain technical changes to the junior designer
- Phenomenal detailed oriented abilities.
- Excellent problem solving and networking skills
- Strong work ethics.
- Great interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required

**Salary**: From AED1.00 per month
