**The Role**

RAK Academy - Al Hamra is looking for a positive, driven and inspirational Early Years Teacher to join the team.

**Essential**

• A bachelor's degree with specialty in early years OR bachelor's degree in early childhood studies.
• If the above qualifications are not available, then a specialization in Primary Education or Education with experience of not less than two years in the field of teaching kindergarten is required.
• Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have a proven track record of excellent classroom and pedagogical practice.
• It is essential to be trained in British Curriculum.
• Strong ability to use technology to support teaching and learning.
• Be able to engage, motivate and support children, staff and parents.
• Be a reflective practitioner with the ability to think creatively and innovate.
• Be a positive and enthusiastic member of staff.
• Be willing to be fully involved in extra-curricular activities.
• Most importantly, fully subscribe to the maxim that “all complex decision-making be based on what constitutes best practice for the child”.

**Desirable**

• Experience of using Google suite, e.g., Google classroom

Welcome to RAK Academy. We have been delivering international education in the beautiful emirate of Ras Al Khaimah since 1975. We offer both the UK curriculum and the International Baccalaureate across all stages of education, including Early Years, Primary School, and Secondary School. Our UK curriculum is implemented across our three branches: Khuzam, Al Hamra, and Al Rams. This curriculum follows the standards set by the United Kingdom and ensures that students receive a well-rounded education in line with international benchmarks.

In addition to the UK curriculum, we are proud to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) at our Khuzam branch. The IB consists of two programs: The Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP). These internationally recognised programs encourage critical thinking, creativity, and a holistic approach to education, empowering students to become lifelong learners and global citizens.
