**Job Purpose**:
The Accountant is responsible for a variety of financial tasks crucial to the success of our business, including invoicing and collecting accounts receivable, performing weekly reconciliation of accounts, and handling year-end tax reporting activities. He will help identify areas for streamlining processes and achieving greater efficiencies while assisting with the smooth daily operations of our finance department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Secures financial information by completing database backups.
- Performs Bank, Customer, and Supplier reconciliations.
- Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
- Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
- Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.
- Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Providing accounting and clerical support to ensure that financial transactions comply with the VAT regulations.
- Preparation, validation, and submission of monthly and quarterly VAT returns for the UAE entities
- Handle VAT reporting (payables and receivables). Ensure collections and payments are done in line with UAE regulations.

**Skills required**:

- Proven experience as an accountant, preferably with experience in international or Russian-speaking environments.
- Fluent in Russian and English (both written and spoken).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial statements.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with multi-currency accounting and working with international clients.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
