Accounts Manager with Freight Forwarding Experience

1. Diploma in Accounting or equivalent

2. More than 3 years of accounting experience preferred

3. More than 3 years of accounting experience in Freight Forwarding industry is a must

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
- Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions
- Posting payables, vendor invoices on regular basis, checking entries done by the team
- Keep an account of receivables, follow up for bad debts on a daily basis
- Oversees customer invoices on regular basis and does not pile up for the month-end
- Prepare SOA
- Managing VAT in compliance with UAE law. Ensure that VAT is filed timely
- Implementing a proper filing system
- Monitor internal system to ensure the safety of the company's assets
- Managing inventory, and petty cash and ensuring proper closing on a daily basis
- Control bank reconciliation
- Handle the team of accountants. Coach, develop, and evaluate the performance of the team
- Prepare financial reports for the management liquidity, loans, cash flow efficiency, cash in hand, bank installments, cheques, PDCs received, payment to suppliers monthly basis, the value of stocks, etc.
- Monitor and evaluate investments for necessary reports for the management
Implement advanced accounting in the system to improve the efficiency of the team
- Ensure easy and ready availability of the financial reports when requested by the management
- Coordinating with internal and external auditors.

**Salary**: From AED5,000.00 per month
