We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect – CRMS to lead the end‑to‑end architecture and design of enterprise‑grade Credit Risk Management platforms within a regulated banking environment. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with CBUAE CRMS standards, Basel III/IV, and IFRS9, while enabling scalable, data‑driven risk decisioning. Responsibilities - Lead the end‑to‑end solution architecture for the Credit Risk Management System (CRMS), covering functional, application, data, and technical layers. - Define architecture integrating Core Banking, Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Data Warehouse/Data Lake, Model Execution Engines (PD‑LGD‑EAD), Collateral, Limits & Exposure systems. - Design downstream integrations supporting IFRS9 ECL, Capital/RWA computations, Regulatory Reporting, and MIS. - Translate Business & Functional Requirements (BRD/FSD) into system capabilities across the full credit lifecycle, including credit origination & assessment, rating models & scorecard integration, approval workflows & delegation of authority, collateral, covenants & limit monitoring, SICR, UTP, and exception management. - Collaborate with business stakeholders and vendors to validate functional and technical feasibility. - Define credit risk data models for exposure, counterparty, limits, and risk parameters; specify data lineage, transformation logic, reconciliation, and data quality controls. - Work closely with Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and Data Governance teams. - Ensure solution compliance with Basel III/IV, IFRS9 ECL, BCBS 239; support architecture documentation for regulatory reviews, internal and external audits. - Review and validate vendor solution designs (e.g., Moody’s RiskFoundation, CreditLens). - Define Non‑Functional Requirements: performance, scalability, security, HA/DR. - Lead architecture walkthroughs and present designs to the Architecture Review Board (ARB). - Own Solution Design Document (SDD), Interface Control Documents (ICD), ERDs, and data flow diagrams. - Hands‑on experience designing or implementing Credit Risk / IFRS9 platforms (Moody’s RiskFoundation, CreditLens, similar). - Deep understanding of PD, LGD, EAD models, data integration, and ETL architecture; risk data aggregation & reporting (BCBS 239). - Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, microservices, cloud/on‑prem architectures is a plus.
