The Strategic Partnerships and Sponsorships Manager acts as the regional anchor for partnerships and sponsorships, shaping local strategy and ensuring local activation. This person develops and negotiates sponsorships and partnerships to strengthen local brand positioning, support growth strategies and community engagement. Supporting marketing strategies and initiatives locally to deliver impactful partnerships and sponsorships with key stakeholders and drive value for WSP. They will co-create and adapt global partnership and sponsorship strategies for local relevance and impact while ensuring regional initiatives align with global brand, sector, and growth priorities. Responsibilities - Leads the identification, negotiation, and management of high-impact partnerships and sponsorships locally. - Adapts and activates global partnerships and sponsorships locally. - Acts as the key point of contact for major initiatives locally. - Shares insights and best practices to shape strategy and foster innovation. - Co-create global strategies, ensuring local resonance. - Implement harmonised KPIs and performance indicators with the global team. - Act as a strategic advisor to regional leaders. Qualifications - 8 + years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business or related field. - Proven experience in complex project management and event management. - Strong ability to influence and collaborate across cultures and functions. - Excellent negotiation, organisational, analytical, and communication skills. - Results-driven, highly autonomous, and able to work in a global, agile environment. - Based/ located in the Middle East (KSA or UAE). Soft Skills - Proven ability to navigate between local needs and global requirements. - Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. - Strong client and business acumen. - Agile, empowered, and able to work in a matrix/global environment.
