Job Description Job Title: IT Technician ELV & IT Infrastructure(UAE Driving license) Company: Dataspot IT Infrastructure Location: Dubai, UAE Role Summary Hands-on field technician responsible for deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure and ELV systems across client sites in Dubai and the UAE. Requires a valid UAE driving license and independent execution capability. Key Responsibilities - Install, terminate, label, and test structured cabling (CAT6/CAT6A, fiber). - Deploy, configure, and maintain CCTV systems (IP/analog), NVR/DVR, cameras, and storage. - Install and support access control systems (controllers, readers, locks, biometric devices). - Execute ELV works including basic networking, racks, patch panels, containment, and earthing. - Perform site surveys, prepare BOQs, and execute installations as per drawings and standards. - Troubleshoot network connectivity, PoE, VLAN basics, and device configurations. - Maintain documentation: as-built drawings, test results, handover packs. - Coordinate with project managers and clients; adhere to timelines and safety standards. - Conduct preventive maintenance and on-call support as required. Required Skills & Experience - 23 years hands-on experience in structured cabling, CCTV, access control, and ELV systems. - Strong knowledge of copper/fiber termination, testing tools, and best practices. - Working knowledge of IP networking fundamentals. - Experience with major CCTV and access control brands preferred. - Ability to read drawings and execute independently on site. Mandatory Requirements - Valid UAE driving license. - Physically fit for site work. - Clear communication in English; Hindi/Arabic an advantage. Education - Diploma or certification in IT, Electronics, Networking, or related field. Preferred Certifications - Structured cabling certifications. - CCTV/Access Control vendor certifications. - Basic HSE awareness. Working Conditions - Field-based role with travel across UAE. - Flexible hours based on project needs. Compensation - Market-aligned salary based on experience. - Company vehicle or allowance as applicable.
