Description:

Stantec is looking to hire a Resident Engineer for Water Infrastructure Projects in Dubai.

Responsibilities:

- The Resident Engineer must have full and complete knowledge of the existing infrastructure in the Emirates of Dubai.
- The Resident Engineer must have a relevant degree from a recognized university and must have thoughtful knowledge and work experience of not less than 15 years in infrastructure works.
- Candidate must be able to take on-the-spot decisions and be able to deal with all Service Authorities.
- Candidate must have thoughtful knowledge and experience in dealing with pipelines, cables, sewers, manholes, VC, WO, AV, connection chambers, and pumping station works, including non-disruptive road crossings.
- He must have thorough knowledge and experience in the design of infrastructure works.
- Familiar with the DM General Conditions of Contract, Quality Assurance, Quantity Surveying, and Project Network Techniques (Primavera).
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Primavera.
- Confident in his own ability to control the works.
- Excellent written and communication skills (English), time management, and supervisory skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare instructions, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
- Capacity to make decisions.
- Ability to liaise with DM and other infrastructure authorities.
