Our client, a leading global trading company operating across 50+ countries, is seeking an experienced Head of Global Treasury to oversee international financial flows and build strong banking and payment agent partnerships worldwide.

This is a strategic role that requires expertise in cross-border payments, liquidity management, and compliance, with a focus on optimizing financial structures across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

Banking & Financial Partnerships

- Establish and manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and payment agents in key regions: UAE, Hong Kong, South Africa, Serbia, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Latin America, Europe, and China.
- Build a robust financial infrastructure for global payment flows and liquidity management.
- Negotiate competitive terms and continuously optimize financial conditions.

Treasury & Compliance

- Ensure smooth, efficient cross-border transactions while managing compliance risks.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to structure financial agreements correctly.
- Monitor global regulatory changes affecting international financial operations.

Strategic Leadership & Growth

- Support the CFO in treasury strategy and cash flow planning.
- Drive process improvements to enhance financial efficiency in high-volume trading.
- Lead and scale the treasury function as the business expands.

Candidate Profile

- Proven experience in treasury, banking relationships, or financial management within international trading, commodities, FMCG, or similar industries.
- Strong track record of building payment agent networks and working with global banks.
- Experience handling large transaction volumes (hundreds of millions USD annually).
- Expertise in cross-border payments, liquidity aggregation, and financial compliance.
- Fluent in Russian and English (Russian is essential for internal communications).
- Independent, entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to travel extensively to build and maintain banking relationships.
- Prior experience in Dubai or other major financial hubs is a strong advantage.
- Exposure to alcohol and food trade flows is a plus.
