Role Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Global Head of Treasury to lead our global treasury operations across 20+ countries. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient, compliant, and secure movement of funds globally. You will be responsible for FX strategy, global cash management, liquidity optimization, and treasury risk control, while building a best-in-class treasury infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in emerging markets, exceptional banking relationships, and the ability to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Treasury Leadership

  • Design and implement the global treasury strategy aligned with business growth, regulatory environments, and risk appetite
  • Serve as the companys treasury subject matter expert for all internal and external stakeholders, including the Board, auditors, and regulators

Global Cash & Liquidity Management

  • Oversee global cash positions and manage efficient and secure fund movements across 20+ countries
  • Ensure optimal cash utilization, inter-company funding strategies, and liquidity forecasting across time zones and jurisdictions
  • Build frameworks for real-time visibility of cash balances and forecasted inflows/outflows

Banking and Partner Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain strategic banking relationships across multiple geographies
  • Negotiate commercial terms, optimize fee structures, and ensure treasury services (e.g., pooling, sweeping, FX) are aligned with business needs
  • Identify and onboard banking partners to support new market entries and product launches

FX and Risk Management

  • Develop and execute FX hedging strategies to manage currency exposure and volatility
  • Monitor global macroeconomic and regulatory risks impacting fund flows and capital repatriation
  • Create and enforce a comprehensive treasury risk control framework, ensuring compliance with internal policies and local regulations

Treasury Infrastructure & Systems

  • Implement scalable treasury technology platforms for real-time cash visibility, reconciliation, and automation
  • Collaborate with IT, product, and finance to ensure seamless integration of treasury systems with internal platforms and third-party providers
  • Establish KPIs, dashboards, and analytics for treasury performance monitoring

Treasury Operations

  • Set up and manage 24/7 treasury operations, enabling continuous fund movement and settlement in a high-volume payments environment
  • Ensure robust controls for treasury transactions, including segregation of duties, authorization levels, and compliance reporting
  • Resolve complex operational issues including frozen funds, delayed settlements, and local banking restrictions

Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing global treasury team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and knowledge sharing
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and succession planning within the treasury function
  • Promote a culture of compliance, innovation, and operational excellence

Qualification

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CFA is preferred
  • Minimum 1215 years of experience in treasury, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing global treasury functions
  • Proven experience in a fintech, payments, or cross-border financial services environment
  • Deep understanding of FX, liquidity planning, capital controls, fund repatriation, and treasury compliance across different jurisdictions
  • Hands-on experience with treasury management systems (TMS) and global banking platforms
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with banking partners and financial institution
  • Ability to operate in a high-growth, high-pressure environment with agility and foresight
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
