Purchasing Section Manager | alfanar Electric Join to apply for the Purchasing Section Manager | alfanar Electric role at alfanar Job Overview Responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, production and delivery of goods. Maintains supplier relationships, ensures compliance and collaborates across departments using SAP ERP. Key Responsibilities - Strategic supplier management: selection, qualification, negotiation, contract execution within authorization limits and consolidation of suppliers. - Compliance and legal: stay current on KSA customs, regulations, approve comparison sheets, and collaborate with the Legal Advisor on contract drafting. - Collaboration and coordination: coordinate with support functions, manage product deliveries aligned with project schedules, analyze status of purchase requests and orders, resolve issues, and investigate complaints. - Market analysis and price monitoring: evaluate market conditions, pricing structures, delivery terms and trends. - SAP ERP: optimize use of SAP ERP to enhance supply chain efficiency. - HR responsibilities: recruit, coach high performers, address low performers, ensure equal treatment, and oversee delegation matrix as per policy. - Business planning and performance: translate corporate goals into business plans, monitor performance, produce progress reports, and control budgets. - Organizational development: develop structure, ensure job descriptions for all roles. - Business process improvements: coordinate written systems, policies, procedures and automation opportunities. - Quality, adaptation, HSE: uphold quality standards, adapt to new technologies, and maintain a safe work environment. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Business Management. - 6–10 years of experience in purchasing, procurement and related functions. - Proficiency in purchasing agreements, applications and tools, benchmarking, planning, procedures and reporting. - Knowledge of SAP ERP.
