Job Description Lead the Purchasing Section, coordinating strategic sourcing, contractual negotiations, and market analysis to support Alfanar’s manufacturing and trading operations. Key Accountability Areas Strategic Supplier Management Oversee strategic selection, qualification, and negotiation processes with suppliers. Negotiate, execute, and oversee contracts/orders within specified authorization limits. Engage robust suppliers/logistics providers to establish a consolidated foundation for current and future requirements. Compliance and Legal Maintain up‑to‑date understanding of KSA customs, clearance policy, and legal prerequisites for procurement. Review and approve the comparison sheet within designated limits and draft contracts in accordance with legal requirements. Collaboration and Coordination Collaborate with support functions to ensure fulfillment of purchasing requirements. Manage product deliveries in alignment with project activity schedules. Resolve identified issues in Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders, and investigate complaints related to supplies. Market Analysis and Price Monitoring Evaluate market conditions, pricing structures, delivery terms, and trends to ascertain material availability. SAP ERP Expertise Leverage SAP ERP to enhance the effectiveness of the Supply Chain team. HR Proficiency Recruit, recognize, and cultivate high performers while ensuring equal treatment of subordinates. Guide low performers toward improvement or release and apply performance criteria leading to planned results. Ensure availability of delegation of authority matrix per company policy. Academic Qualification Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Business Management. 6 to 10 Years of work experience in purchasing. Technical and Functional Competencies Purchasing Agreements, Applications and Tools, Benchmarking, Planning, Procedures, and Reporting.
