Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for Mechanical QC Engineer to join a top qualified and knowledgeable quality controls team in one of our projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

What you will need to do:

1. Assist in the preparation of quality documentation, including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and in the review of construction documents for compliance with project quality requirements related to Mechanical works.
2. Monitor all phases and processes required for the effective completion of all related Mechanical works.
3. Manage the inspection and testing of Mechanical works, including monitoring the work of QC Inspectors.
4. Prepare, file, and maintain test/inspection records and any other quality records generated related to Mechanical works.
5. Advise the QC Manager of non-conformance occurrences and raise Non-conformance Reports as necessary.
6. Assist the QC Manager in undertaking periodic audits, including those of sub-contractors and suppliers.
7. Witness all NDT and Mechanical testing specified.
8. Assist in the preparation of final documents for certification.

What you will need to have:

- Bachelor Degree of Mechanical Engineering
- Min. 15 years of experience (ADNOC experience will be an advantage)
- Full EPC experience in O&G project
- Very Good Command of English Language
- Well versed in the inspection and certification of Pipeline, Piping, Structures, Process equipment, packaged units, NDT methods, Welding activities, Test Package Management, Mechanical Completion – oil and gas EPCM projects.

- Has excellent organizational skills
