The role of a female PE teacher As a PE teacher, you will have a key role in inspiring and developing the physical abilities, confidence, and teamwork skills of our students. By delivering a creative and inclusive PE curriculum, you will nurture students’ enthusiasm for health and fitness while promoting collaboration and resilience. The successful candidate will be a dedicated professional who shares our commitment to excellence and can deliver lessons that are engaging, inclusive, and tailored to meet the needs of a diverse group of learners. What we’re looking for - Outstanding subject knowledge of physical education. - The ability to create a vibrant and engaging learning environment for PE. - Experience with current UK educational initiatives and developments. - A passion for sports and fitness, with a commitment to achieving the highest standards in physical education. - The ability to support creative learning and foster 21st-century skills in students. - Confidence in using technology to enhance and extend learning. - Experience in using data and assessments to track and support student progress. - Experience teaching EAL (English as an Additional Language) students is desirable but not essential. Qualifications and experience - A degree in physical education or a related field. - A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent). - Proven experience teaching PE, preferably in an international or multicultural school environment. - Strong organisational and communication skills. - A passion for promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. - Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
