Our Client, a Multinational Real Estate business, has assets globally. They are recruiting a Global Tax Director to be the focal point of contact for their strategic decisions related to Taxation.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct research on international tax issues and recommend solutions to optimise tax spends and mitigate risks.
2. Liaise with external agencies to provide advice to support business operations.
3. Responsible for implementing and keeping up-to-date with the transfer pricing model.
4. Act as the primary liaison with tax authorities in Europe.
5. Ensure timely submission of income tax returns in collaboration with external parties.
6. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT reconciliations.
7. Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation in all jurisdictions globally.

Minimum Requirements:

1. 15+ years of experience, of which at least 5 years are in a leadership role managing a Global Tax function - this requirement is mandatory.
2. Experience handling Taxation matters in European markets is mandatory.
3. A Bachelor's and/or Postgraduate Degree in Finance or related field.
4. Professional Accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, CIMA, or CA is an added advantage.
