Job Description We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer with 10 years of work experience to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and analyzing structures for various building projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with local regulations. - Lead structural design projects for a diverse range of Infrastructures in UAE - Perform complex structural analysis and design, utilizing advanced engineering principles and software - Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues and ensure project success - Develop innovative and cost-effective structural solutions that meet client requirements and local building codes - Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members - Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications - Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress - Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and building codes - Contribute to business development efforts by participating in client meetings and proposal preparations - Ensure all projects meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget constraints Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline; master's degree preferred - Professional engineering license or certification (e.g., PE or equivalent) - Residential and commercial building experience will not be considered for this position Additional Information - 5+ years of experience in UAE as structural engineer, with a focus on building design and analysis - Extensive knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE - Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as Etabs, Autodesk Robot, SAFE, Staad Pro, should have worked on Roads, bridges, highways, infrastructure mandatory. - Proven track record of working on large and complex projects in RTA - Experience with sustainable design practices and green building standards - Experience with parametric modeling and computational design About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
