Overview Alibaba Cloud UAE is looking for a Business Development Manager based in Dubai. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and contributing to the overall business development strategy. This position requires a dynamic, results-oriented individual with a strong background in business development and a deep understanding of cloud computing services. Responsibilities - Acting like a business owner to take ownership of revenue and customer’s experience on Alibaba Cloud. - Identify and qualify potential clients in various industries. - Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent sales growth. - Lead client meetings and presentations to promote Alibaba Cloud services and solutions. - Negotiate and close deals to achieve sales targets. - Advocate for customer requirements within Alibaba Cloud. - Represent Alibaba Cloud well within customer’s environment. - Work closely with Alibaba Cloud Architect team to make recommendations on how Alibaba Cloud offerings can fit in customer’s architecture and improve their IT efficiency. - Drive issue escalation with Alibaba Cloud Service teams. - Periodic reviews of operational performance to customer leadership for Key Accounts. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field in the technology or cloud computing industry in the Middle East market. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. - Experience in prospecting and building connections with new target accounts. - Ability to understand and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented. - Strong business acumen. - Experience managing multiple tasks and projects in a fast-moving environment. - Understanding of Cloud and Hybrid Cloud technology and solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle, Alibaba Cloud and VMware). - Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage. - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field. - Comfortable working in a global company with culture diversity and fast pace growth. #J-18808-Ljbffr
