1. Assist in the preparation and presentation of pastry mise en place of the daily operations, events, demos etc. ensuring high standards of taste, texture and visual appeal
2. Work closely with the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to maintain consistency and quality in all dessert offerings and preparations
3. Learn and master techniques for pastry preparation, including slicing cakes, plating, and garnishing, under the guidance of experienced chefs
4. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the Pastry & Bakery area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
5. Support the pastry team during events, demos and workshops including inventory management for pastry & bakery items
6. Embrace opportunities for learning and growth, contributing to the innovation and creativity of our culinary offerings
7. Eager to learn more about all our pastry & bakery brands and applications per brand
8. Understand the brand image behind Chef Middle East's Epicure Studio Philosophy
Qualifications & Experience:
1. 3 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
2. Completion of Basic Food Hygiene Training and holding a valid Food Handlers Card (as per UAE regulations)
3. Capable of carrying a minimum of 10 kg of goods
