We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented LGS (Light Gauge Steel) Structural Engineer to join our team at a state-of-the-art toilet pods manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and optimizing light gauge steel structures for prefabricated toilet pods. This role requires expertise in LGS design, structural engineering principles, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:

- LGS Structural Design for Toilet Pods:
- Design and analyse light gauge steel structures for prefabricated toilet pods, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Develop detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications for LGS frames, walls, floors, and roofs.
- Use CAD and structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Vertix, Tekla, or equivalent) to create accurate models and drawings.
- Structural Analysis and Optimization:
- Perform structural analysis to ensure the integrity, stability, and safety of LGS structures under various loads (e.g., dead, live, wind, and seismic loads).
- Optimize designs for material efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.
- Coordination and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of LGS structures with other systems (e.g., plumbing, electrical, and HVAC).
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to resolve structural issues.
- Documentation and Deliverables:
- Prepare detailed fabrication drawings, assembly instructions, and bill of materials (BOM) for LGS components.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations of UAE.
- Quality Assurance and Troubleshooting:
- Conduct design reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve structural issues during the design and production phases.
- Innovation and Process Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in LGS design and modular construction technologies.
- Identify opportunities to improve design processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.

Qualifications:

- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in LGS structural design, preferably in modular construction or prefabricated systems.
- Proven experience with structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Vertix, Tekla, SAP2000, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with LGS manufacturing processes and modular construction techniques.
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in LGS design and structural analysis.
- Excellent understanding of structural engineering principles and building codes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of modular construction and prefabrication processes.
