Roles and responsibilities

KeyResponsibilities

  • Site Operations Management: Overseeall aspects of structural site operations, including coordinationwith contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensurecompliance with design specifications, safety standards, andproject schedules.
  • Site Supervision with DesignExperience: Lead site supervision activities, conducting regularinspections to monitor construction progress, quality ofworkmanship, and adherence to engineering standards. Providetechnical guidance and support to resolve any design-related issuesthat may arise during construction.
  • High-RiseTower Experience: Bring expertise in the design and construction ofhigh-rise towers, with a deep understanding of the uniquestructural challenges and requirements associated with tallbuildings. Implement best practices to optimize structuralperformance and mitigate risks.
  • DesignCoordination: Collaborate closely with the design team tocoordinate structural design activities with site operations.Review design drawings, specifications, and calculations to ensureconstructability and alignment with projectgoals.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement rigorousquality assurance measures to uphold structural integrity andensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.Conduct inspections and audits to identify and address anynon-conformities or deficiencies promptly.
  • TeamLeadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineersand site staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration,and continuous improvement. Lead by example in promoting safety,innovation, and professionalism on-site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Civil Engineering or relatedfield.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience instructural engineering, with a focus on site operations andhigh-rise tower projects.
  • Proven track recordof successful site supervision and project management in the UAE,preferably with renowned developers or engineeringfirms.
  • Strong technical proficiency instructural analysis software and design codes relevant to high-riseconstruction.
  • Excellent communication,leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Abilityto thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiplepriorities effectively.
  • PMP or similarcertification is a plus.
Desired candidate profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degreein Civil Engineering or related field.
