We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Waitress to lead our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for French cuisine and fine dining service standards, along with the ability to inspire and manage a team in a fast-paced environment. As the Head Waitress, you will ensure that our guests receive the highest level of service and hospitality, enhancing their overall dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Management:

- Oversee the daily operations of the dining area, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

- Train, supervise, and motivate waitstaff to uphold service standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

- Conduct regular briefings and meetings to ensure team members are informed about menu changes, special events, and guest preferences.

2. Guest Relations:

- Greet and seat guests in a warm and professional manner, addressing any special requests or dietary needs.

- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with tact and diplomacy, ensuring a satisfactory resolution.

- Provide recommendations on food and wine pairings, enhancing the dining experience with expert knowledge of the French menu.

3. Service Excellence:

- Maintain a high standard of service throughout each dining experience, adhering to fine dining protocols.

- Monitor and manage the flow of service to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

- Ensure that tables are set and cleared according to established guidelines, and that the dining area is kept clean and presentable.

4. Collaboration with Kitchen and Management:

- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to relay special requests, dietary restrictions, and feedback.

- Work closely with the restaurant management to implement and uphold service standards and operational procedures.

- Assist in managing reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.

5. Administrative Duties:

- Assist in the preparation of staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.

- Handle cash and billing procedures accurately and efficiently.

- Conduct regular inventory checks and manage supplies as needed.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Head Waitress or similar role in a high-end, fine dining restaurant, preferably with a focus on French cuisine.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the UAE.

- Knowledgeable in using Macro system.

- Capable of working in a smoking area.

- Must be 5'7" in height.

- A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.

- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a track record of motivating and developing staff.

- Extensive knowledge of French food and mocktail drinks, including the ability to make informed recommendations to guests.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on guest service and satisfaction.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.

- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
