Job Description - MS Security Specialist 1.1 - MYJob Description – Security Specialist Team: Delivery / SupportDesignation: Security Specialist – MS SolutionsJob Role : Lead and collaborate with the team in delivering and supporting security solutions based on customer requirements and industry knowledge.Experience : Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a security engineering role involving designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft security and compliance solutions.Employer : Vcyberiz Sdn Bhd, Cyberjaya, MalaysiaShifts : The resource may need to work flexible hours to provide extended support and be available on call when required.The MS Security Specialist’s primary function is to own and collaborate with the team in delivering and supporting security solutions based on customer requirements and industry knowledge.Responsibilities : The SME / Consultant would carry out the following responsibilities :Design and deploy Microsoft M365 Security and Compliance Solutions.Perform onboarding or implementation of security solutions for internal and external customers, e.g., MS Purview, Entra, Defender for Cloud, Office, and Endpoint.Monitor system resources and resolve security incidents related to emails, changes, and problem tickets.Provide inputs to technical documents based on repeat incidents and assist SMEs during problem resolution.Troubleshoot security-related service issues and conduct after-action reviews.Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Request, Problem, Change, and Access Management.Experience : Experience in designing, implementing, supporting, and delivering security solutions such as Defender for Endpoint, Cloud, MS Purview (AIP / DLP), Entra.Requirements : Experience in designing and implementing one or more of the following: Defender for Endpoint, Cloud, MS Purview, Entra.Good understanding of ticket management, service requests, Security Operations, and Service Delivery. Exposure to ISO 27001, PCI certifications, and compliance practices. Familiarity with enterprise ticketing systems and ITIL processes supporting security solutions.Qualifications (Mandatory) : Engineering Degree in Computer Science or a Technical Degree with certifications in IT or Information Security. Certifications such as CCNA (optional), SC-100, SC-400, SC-200, AZ-900 (mandatory).Skills and Abilities : Strong command of English, good cross-cultural communication skills, leadership ability in security teams, interaction skills with teams and customers, proactive in sharing best practices, continuous improvement suggestions, escalation when needed, and willingness to work extended hours during incidents.Performance Criteria : Security Delivery team meets service level agreements; documentation is kept up to date.Skillset Required : IT, proactive industry knowledge, ISO 27001, Cisco, information security, Scala, compliance, flexibility, communication, ITIL, documentation, multimedia.Location: Security Specialist – Dubai, United Arab Emirates #J-18808-Ljbffr
