The role requires someone who is comfortable operating both strategically and operationally — developing HR policies and people strategies while also handling day-to-day matters personally. The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, highly organised and capable of building and managing an effective HR function without relying on a large support team.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a lean, entrepreneurial or fast-growing Previous experience as a Head of HR, HR Manager, HR Lead or standalone HR professional.
- Strong hands-on experience across the full HR lifecycle.
- Solid knowledge of UAE labour law and HR practices.
- Experience managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits and HR Comfortable being both strategic and Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Commercially minded with the ability to understand and support business objectives.
- Comfortable working independently and rolling up their sleeves to handle HR matters personally.
- Experience working in a start-up, SME, scale-up or similarly lean environment would be advantageous.
