Job Title: IT Support Executive Reports to: IT- Program Leader Location: Dubai Role Purpose To ensure proper functioning of all the equipment in the Computer Lab and other departments. Make sure that technical help is provided to the staff members as well as students. Role and Responsibilities Maintain the File server and student server. Install, configure and repair computers in labs, classrooms, faculties and departments. Maintain projectors in labs and classrooms. Take backups of data and systems. Conduct regular visits to labs and classrooms to ensure IT equipment is working properly. Set policies and implement measures to secure data in the file server. Provide first‑call support by phone and schedule on‑site visits to resolve problems promptly. Perform pre‑emptive maintenance as per schedule and provide periodic updates. Regularly update antivirus software and other system software. Maintain all computers and laptops in operational condition. Maintain web server and mail server. Maintain multimedia resources in classrooms and labs. Back up database, mail and other critical servers. Basic maintenance and configuration of PABX systems. Regular maintenance of hardware, updates of antivirus, software and networking devices. Essential Skills and Experience Hardware concentration preferred. Certification in IT related courses. At least three years in an IT role within a professional services environment. Strong oral communication skills, both in person and by telephone. Ability to handle hardware‑related maintenance operations. Ability to establish rapport with staff and students. Professional and personable presentation to students and staff.
