ResponsibilitiesIdentify trendsetter ideas by researching markets, industries, and related events, publications, and announcements for the assigned territories.
Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integrations of EVR solutions and products with customers’ operational needs and strategies, examine risks and potentials, estimate clients’ needs and goals.
Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements with business units.
Identify decision makers and influencers for major accounts, cultivate the relationship with the major accounts, ensure flawless flow of communication between the regional management, IGC Sales and customers.
Target and gain new business as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities and to gain comprehensive knowledge of the market sector and what is influencing it.
Share knowledge, experiences and expertise within regional sales team, key clients, customers and third parties, and work with Regional Managers to effectively target prospects using a regional team approach.
Prepare and present presentations for internal and external customers, travel to internal and external customer locations, prepare reports as required for both General Managers and senior personnel.
Develop marketing plans to implement, grow existing and new business together with business intelligence, and develop literature for customers to learn about new and existing products and services that the company offers to grow existing and new business.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Provide regular product and sales training to local sales teams in alignment with the related business units.
Provide sales and technical support of our product portfolio to local sales teams.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering or business from a four-year college or university; an MBA is an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of work experience in a sales or project development position in the marine industry.
Deep understanding of marine business.
Customer-oriented, entrepreneurial, self-disciplined, highly motivated with ability to focus on defined priorities.
Experienced in leading large acquisition projects.
Excellent communicator with very strong negotiating skills.
Readiness to travel as required by business needs, partially greater than 25% of the time and sometimes on very short notice.
