About the Client Our client is a leading contracting organization headquartered in Abu Dhabi delivering large-scale civil and infrastructure projects across the UAE. Operating under a global holding structure the company is recognized for its financial discipline transparency and strong project governance. Role Overview The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for leading the financial accounting function ensuring accurate reporting compliance and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead digital finance initiatives optimize processes and ensure compliance while driving efficiency and innovation. Key Responsibilities Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes. Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations. Drive process improvements and automation in accounting. Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies. Job Requirements Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field. Professional certification (CPA ACCA or equivalent) preferred. 8 years of experience in accounting or finance. Advanced knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
