Job Title: Electrical Systems Maintenance TechnicianThe role of the Electrical Systems Maintenance Technician involves supporting production operations by ensuring the smooth functioning of electrical systems and equipment. This is achieved through the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and machinery.Key Responsibilities:Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.Collaborate with the electrical supervisor to ensure the seamless operation of machinery used in the production process.Perform general electrical work and preparation as directed by senior personnel.Monitor and maintain accurate records of machine performance.Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as pipe bending and installation of electrical conduit and cable trunking materials for industrial wiring.Detect potential hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.Develop and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.Essential Skills:Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols and best practices while working with electrical equipment.Thorough understanding of the operation and maintenance of various electrical machines, instruments, lighting equipment, and different wiring systems.Requisite knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the trade.Able to comprehend and apply important documents like work instructions, procedures, equipment manuals, and electrical wiring/schematic diagrams and machine specification plates.Effective communication skills to participate actively in team work and individual projects.
