Overview As the Senior Planning Engineer , you will play a key role in overseeing the planning and coordination of engineering activities within the organization. You will manage project timelines, ensure resource allocation, and support the engineering team in delivering high-quality designs and solutions. Your role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, managing external partnerships, and ensuring that formwork designs meet the technical and project requirements. You will provide guidance to the team to enable collaboration and deliver optimal results for clients\' complex projects. Responsibilities Accountable for managing multiple projects and engineering teams together with Junior PT and PT Provide strong leadership and actively promote knowledge sharing and engineering trainings/development for project team Analyze structural drawings given by clients Implement formwork solutions for basic and complex project requirements considering standards, safety, time-saving and cost-efficiency Formwork design for special applications and structures Create customer presentations for project-specific applications and solutions Propose the most economical and best technical solution Conduct basic and advanced static calculations and structural analysis Produce material list, offer and shop drawings Assist Sales Engineers with site visits, meetings and client presentations Ensure the timely delivery of drawings, material lists and calculations as required Liaise with clients for technical issues and troubleshooting Coordination with other involved departments Consideration of availability of material in the design stage Qualifications Technical/Civil Engineering Qualification AutoCAD and formwork knowledge (3D software, Revit and Inventor is an advantage) At least 8 years of intensive experience and expert knowledge in formwork engineering (and statics) Solid communication skills in English Team player with attention to detail and a feel for economic matters Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage a project and its internal and external stakeholders Thorough project management experience and knowledge Ability to make decisions, take responsibility, delegate and deliver presentations Eager to learn and improve knowledge and skills Shows adaptability, is open to change and able to manage it Thorough understanding of our business model and cross-functional collaboration Understanding of logistics and contract management Additional Information Job Type: Full time Location: Dubai / UAE As a customer-focused organization, Doka understands that its greatest assets are its employees, which is why Doka is consistently looking for talented professionals who are keen to develop their career in this challenging industry. #J-18808-Ljbffr
